I was on the fence between an iPad Pro and Mac Book Air, I chose the iPad Pro 5th Gen with cellular because of the mobility/versatility. I am not a content creator nor a visionary you tube influencer. I am however, in a position where the tasks I need to perform can easily be handled on an iPad. I am uncomfortable using other "wifi" as I am communicating professionally with others. The screen size and magic keyboard makes this experience so much more pleasant. My iPhone 13 Pro Max is now free for other tasks also. With these 2 devices working in tandem I have become an absolute BEAST in my everyday productivity. The portability speaks for itself. And finally, all of this is a business expense (Tax write off) yeah

That’s why iPad Air 4 is enough for me. I don’t do work when I’m on iPad. I have a Mac for working on all serious stuff.

As someone who wants to throw their 32 gb iPad 6 (9.7 inch) across the room everyday. I am counting the minutes until i can buy the 12.9 pro. I use this as my sole device and i have to press buttons at least 5-8 seconds before anything happens. I cant count how many times i almost had a meltdown in the middle of my classroom from staring at a loading screen for 3 minutes when a complex topic was getting explained before my eyes. Just thinking about this is increases my heart rate.

In my usage, M1 12.9” iPad only last a day. I use social medias, some photo editing, media playback from AppleTV & Netflix. And I need to charge at least once a day. It’s not even a two days battery life.

I’ll wait to update my 2020 iPad Pro until Apple relocates the Facetime camera ro a horizontal position like a laptop. I love the iPad … and use it as my main computer …. which means I’ve had to move away from some MacOS-only applications.

Just got the iPad Pro 12.9 5th gen and I might be returning it and waiting for the 2022 model. Here are the reasons:

1. Display blooming, although not a huge deal, I use dark mode and I do notice it often.
2. Battery life is mediocre
3. Camera placement needs to be moved for landscape mode.
4. Front camera is grainy and disappointing.

I just upgraded from my iPad Pro 12.9 2018 to the newest 12.9 M1 with 16 gb ram and 1 tb. I don’t need a tb but I definitely wanted the extra ram. I love this iPad just as much or more than my previous one. I would recommend it to anyone.
