Strategy versus Strategic Plan

A Strategy is different than a plan. Your organization needs both. The danger of a single "strategic plan" is you fail to get the full capabilities of a strategy (which helps you understand and adapt) and a plan (which helps you execute). It's like mixing a first and second course, rather then enjoying them separately -- as they are meant to be enjoyed.
