This isn't all that surprising, to be fair, Sony had a multi-year exclusivity contract with Bungie during the Destiny days.

That's not that big. Bungie made Halo, okay, but Halo belongs to Microsoft and they made Destiny. That's it. Nobody cares about Myth or so. Compared to MS buying Activison this here is nothing.

Bungie has been shit for some years now, they only care about money (not even trying to disguise it), good deal for Bungie I guess, but Sony wasted money on a dead horse.

And everyone gave Microsoft crap over their acquisitions. Guess people cant give microsoft crap anymore without getting laughed out of any chat going forward. Unfortunately for Sony, bungie has shown their money hungry side with all the destiny expansions and charging up to $100 dollars for each special ultimate dlc package plus a lot of their aesthetics cost money with a slim chance to earn it in game unless you no life the game.

those marketing people have ONE FORMATION: Twitter. They probably smoke pot all throught their graduation and built all their "professional" knowledge reading social networks.

What people here seem to be missing are the possibilities resulting from this acquisition! I am sure Sony knows that the western market loves brainless shooters and they certainly seem to be lacking original IPs in that regard. IMO Bungie will help them to develop a new COD-like game to compete and likely eclipse whatever Activision can muster.
