why not compare the xm5s to the updated quietcomfort headphones or the quietcomfort ultra. qc45 is outdated and will obviously underperform when compared to the current generation xm5

When you use the headphones (Bose QC35, QC45) with noise cancellation activated without listening to music while you work, does the headset automatically turn off or disconnect after a certain period of inactivity?

If Sony will design the earcups like Bose. It will be game over for many headphones. I do think Bose looks better than Sony. Comfort level is not that far from each other. I like to watch movies when I'm flying rather than listening to music. The sound comes out of the Sony is so much better compare to the Bose. I even prefer using airpods pro over the Bose watching a movie. Bose is so average with everything except comfort.

the bose qc 45 don't sound all that great, relative to other headphones I've tried including grados and even my galaxy buds. The bass thump is really loose and fake sounding.
