HOW TO MAKE A 3DPRINTED H SHIFTER FOR SIM RACING

Make a DIY H shifter for your racing simulator with 3d printed parts. This model can be customized to suit your sim racing needs. By designing a new gate and adding more switches, more select-able gears can be added. In this configuration it has 6 gears in total.

If you want to easily add a reverse, there's already a spring around the shifter; just add a gate next to the bottom right (the gate which corresponds to 1st) and have the entry point to the gate restricted to the height of the shift knob. Push down on the knob, push left all the way then push forwards.

This is really really cool! I've had my 3D printer a while now and I've always thought about making a 3D printed wheel setup with pedals and shifter. This definitely works for the shifter! I would love to see similar videos for the wheel and pedals. Thanks for making an awesome video!

I did it and I can just tell you Thanks bro! I replace the controler by an Arduino nano and now it's work perfectly !

For a less clicky shifter you can use some pads (rubber or cloth) below and above the spring to sit between the spring and the washers :)

Makes a sick Manual Valve body setup!!! Run each switch to a 30a relay, then use the shifter to manually shift a electronic shift transmission like a 4L60E or 4L80E 😏
