I wished I watched these videos years ago because it would have saved me a lot of instruction in the air with CFI's blaring instructions, ATC babbling in the background and the whirl of the engines. Thank you for your support of aviators who are learning.

After watching a few VOR navigation videos on YouTube, yours is the only one I understood. I am not a pilot yet but I am gaining a lot of knowledge before ground school. Thank you for your way of teaching.

Every day there is another thing to find in this treasure chest, which is your channel Jason. The enthusiasm and the quality of your videos are simply outstanding! One word: BRAVO

I am a new member of the school and. The reason i joined is because i liked a lot the videos i saw in UTUBE. And I have to say, the videos that are posted in utube, yes it showes the school is great, but to be honest, I think the actual classes are a thousand times better. Is incredible the suppport you get from the school, the you ask them a question and in less than nothing you get an answer. Honestly, the best online school

Great instructions, Jason. I´m from Brazil and I´m not a pilot, yet. But now, I can learn more and practice VOR procedures inside X-Plane flight sim. Many thanks!

I'm studying for my written test and I was having a lot of issues with understanding and using VOR and this helped a lot. Thanks!

Very nice. Agree with some of the comments below regarding terminology. Radials "radiate" outward. The 090 radial starts on the East side of the station and "radiates" outward. You can say, "Intercept the 090 radial and track inbound." But you cant do that if you are anywhere on the West side of the station. The verbiage should be, "Intercept the 270 radial and track inbound." Or...."Intercept the 090 course and track inbound."

Jason is a gifted speaker. Relates his points across as no-one else can. I enjoy listening to him SO much.

People are being really critical of this video, but I really enjoyed it. It helped me get a good basic understanding of VOR. Thanks for the helpful video!

I’ve seen the KingSchool version and this and I gotta say, for my brain putting it together as the CDI needle being the “highway” that you merge on has significantly helped how I understand VOR indications. Thank you!

Thank you Jason and everyone at MzeroA, I've watched numerous videos trying to explain VOR Nav and this one has helped me the most.

Jason, you don't strike me as the swearing type, but you F'n rock at breaking things down and taking us through them step-by-step.

Keep it up man, I love learning things the way that you teach them.

Very entertaining and educational. Nice to have someone talk about a subject in a non monotone voice and get to the point. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for taking the time to make content or in this case, share content with students not taking part in your ground school. This is a extremely helpful video. I appreciate it !

When the examiner asked me to dial in a VOR and fly to it, I did so without comparing each Morse Code character with the sectional. On the ground, the examiner criticized me for not verifying the VOR. I told him that I DID verify the VOR. I told him that I'm an amateur radio operator and I know Morse Code. He smiled. In retrospect, I should have repeated the letters I was hearing out loud, but it was so natural to me to be reading the code that I didn't think of it. So, if you know Morse Code and don't need to compare the dits and dahs with the sectional to verify a VOR, say something. As an aside, one of my pleasures was flying to smaller towns using their local AM broadcast station as an NDB and using a technique taught to me by a lady instructor who once ferried aircraft in WWII that allowed me to track straight to an NDB in a crosswind. I wonder if really practical techniques like that are taught in this online ground school class.
