all my love for designer Zuhal Yorgancıoğlu, who created the costumes, if i'd create a fantasy/medieval show of the Game of Thrones level, i'd hire her anytime. But i cannot say is not funny to see Kosem wearing European dresses, with french/Germanic designs, yet commoners wear typical ottoman garbs.

I get why they left their hair out inside the Harem, but shouldn't these women wear modest clothing outside the Palace? I don't like how they portrayed the lower classes as more religious looking and these people at the Palace as the opposite. As the leaders of the Islamic world, these high ranking ladies should set an example for every Muslim by wearing a type of hijab or at the very least wear more modest clothing that covers their skin. Something that the show Payitaht Abdulhamid did right
