Honestly, I think the change in actresses is meant to represent Anastasia's growth as a character. It is here, looking on the rebels and protecting the capital, where she proves her leadership and strength. It was a very sudden change, but this is symbolic of the rise from innocent Anastasia to the capable future Kosem Sultan.
Edit: I know that the change was for reasons such as ratings, but I use this explanation to incorporate the different actresses into the story. They are all amazing in their potrayals.💖💗

It's so interesting to see how other countries misspell English words and mess up grammar when trying to translate, it makes me feel so much better when I screw up learning their languages as well. But honestly I think I'm going to bump Turkish up to learning even before my beloved French all because of this show, it's made me grow such a love for the language and I want to be able to watch it and understand without the need for captions <3
