How to Create and Delete Profiles in Logitech G Hub Software

The Logitech G Hub software allows you to create profiles for your devices. Each profile can have different settings for your mouse and keyboard.

The profiles can also be set up to change automatically, depending on the game you’re playing. This allows you to seamlessly switch between keybinds just by changing games.

Multiple profiles can be set up for each game or application. This is useful if there are multiple users, or different setting preferences.

A profile can also be set as persistent. This will prevent the profile from automatically changing. Users who prefer to have one profile for all games can create a permanent profile under the desktop tab.

With a profile selected you can change any keybind or setting on your mouse and keyboard. The settings will automatically save and update the profile. This allows you to change DPI, binds, lighting and macros.

To delete a profile you will need to locate it and open the details menu. The details menu allows you to view basic device settings. You can also rename and delete the profile from this menu.

How do you edit an existing profile and save it to onboard memory. This software isn't very straightforward

If you don't want to have your binds change when you open a game, click on the games icon and click on the settings tab. Then disable the profile switch button. Now the game will not have its own separate profiles and the game will use the binds you already have selected.

But how the hell do I CHANGE the profiles? Not frustrated with you, great video btw, but I'm purely lucky to have gotten my mouse just in time before this new software that I could actually CREATE a profile in time. Now I can use the one and only profile I have saved or use the crappy presets, which is "ok" I guess, it'd be nice to change the color once in a while. But the main problem is, I'm helping a friend pick out a mouse and was showing her how you can remap all of the binds and change the lighting with this mouse, but when I went to screenshare and show her how to do it, I literally can't figure it out. Now she probably won't get this mouse because of this trash software, and I don't blame her. The old school software was infinitely better to use.

If you need a guide to use a mouse then Logitech is doing something wrong. Is there anyway to copy profiles between games? I can duplicate them within the same game tab, but if I want to create one for a new game I have to start from the factory default.

I'm so annoyed you can't edit profiles using on-board memory. It just gives you the option to either import one from software mode, or revert it to default -___- the older LGS program let you do it without a hassle but not this one. FFS Logitech 🙄

you confused me when you named it "profile" was it supposed to be named after one of the games you would use that profile for? ex: Cold War or MW (comparing to whats on your video)
