Just crazy that this phone can still work this many years later as someone’s daily driver and still have security patches and bug patches. Like Nick said, these phones are meant to last unlike say Sony or ROG phones that’s just put a bunch of features in your face then say ✌🏽a year later when they abandon you after draining $1400+ from you

I’ve had the X since it came out in 2017. Works great for me. But… I am excited to finally move on to the iPhone 15 pro max

Man, I can’t believe the iPhone X is six years old, even though the battery life is terrible and it overheats, and it’s not as fast, it’s still usable. I can’t believe the 1400 galaxy S 20 ultra is now out of date, so ridiculous. The iPhone X has aged like fine wine, this is the only 2017 flagship phone I remember coming out that year. this is the only 2017 smart phone that’s still usable.

I think iPhone x is throttle down due to heat that is why geekbench scores are very less, btw using iPhone 14 pro max and happy with iOS 17 RC.

I had my XR for 3 years, I plan on using my 14 plus for 5 years. My XR will still work as a phone for much longer now, I’ll give the XR to my mom after she is done with the 6s I gave her

I preordered the iPhone 15 as successor of my iPhone X.
Loved the phone with its perfect size but the battery life is really bad and the phone gets hot all the time.
Since iOS 17 won‘t support the iPhone X it‘s time for an upgrade.

I have been holding onto my XS Max for 5 years and it runs great. Been waiting for Apple to release a iPhone thats leaps ahead to finally make the upgrade but they keep releasing phones with incremental changes and less than 10% performance over the last. Switching to the 15 Pro Max just won’t seem like a huge upgrade because of that. Speed wise, the IPhone 14 Pro max is only like a quarter of a second faster than the 5 year old max when it comes to daily apps I use, I don’t play video games on my phone cause I’m not a teen.

Upgrading to the iPhone 15ProMax from my iPhone X (6years) will be a worth it upgrade. Will probably keep the iPhone 15ProMax for another 5-6years till the next upgrade.

I still have an iPhone X that I got on release date. I plan to keep it for at least another 4 years before upgrading. I probably still won't notice much of an upgrade. I went from iPhone 5S to iPhone X and that was a 4 year difference but a huge jump. That 4 year jump will be a bigger difference than the 10 year jump. Technology has peaked
