For some people like myself - Micro Nutrients are the cause. To add to this, remember that just because you buy and eat lots of fruits and vegetables it doesn't mean they will automatically provide those sources even though known for it typically. The way most food is produced means many fruits and vegetables do not provide what you need even though they have the potential to do so. Try to source your foods (including meats that the animals had a healthy diet), from farms that grow the produce to maximize the nutrient densities of those foods.

Magical solution for calf muscle cramp release is, keep the other leg above the cramped leg, in lying position, press with heals to front of cramped leg. Press the cramped leg in opposite to heals. This releases the cramp instantly.
