Poor guys routine, mine: wash it with body shampoo, comb it through with some cheap as* plastic comb while blow drying it, put body lotion in it, good to go...

For a dense curly beard, I wash with a dedicated beard wash, rinse with warm water then hit it with a cold rinse (to lock the moisture in). Remove excess water by gently combing from the ends of the beard to remove tangles and work down to the skin. While beard is still damp (not dripping) apply oil to the skin first then hair. Comb though wait 5 minutes. Next blow dry out from under the beard then comb the front down and out (not under the chin) while using medium heat then hit it with a cold shot to hold the style. Then i gently apply butter or balm on the front and sides of my beard to control fly aways.

I use a hair dryer. the warmth makes it managable

I wet my beard, comb it, get the excess water out so it is damp, apply beard oil, brush my beard, apply beard balm, brush the beard again, and use my trimmers to get rid of fly aways.

I wash it with shampoo and conditioner once a week or earlier unless it gets really dirty by accident like eating something that contains sauce or cooking oils... I apply beard oil twice a day. I comb it at most twice a day.
