If only I had seen this video 6-7 years ago. This is the simplest and most straight forward bed leveling tutorial I’ve seen yet. Young me would’ve suffered a lot less if I had seen this in 2017/2018.

TBH, I would just install Jyers firmware and do it with a
Z offset and a better system with pre determined co-ords for bed levelling. Its much easier than it seems.

How do you ensure that Z doesn't move when moving the hot end from corner to corner?

Did you leave the Z-Offset at 0.1 or did you return it to 0.00 before printing?

In the same boat with everyone when I bought my Ender 3 Pro 4 years ago! Imagine the headache we would have saved if the money we spent we could have just bought a Bambu Lab A1 and not have to worry about any of that! That the frustrating part I’m feeling now 😣

but keeping the z at 0.1 while moving it around, wouldnt it scratch the bed? if it wasnt leveled right at first.

What if you do not have levelers on your print table????

When trying this method, I found that the Z-Axis had a tendency to move as the stepper is not locked but there was no way to disable the X and Y axis motors only.
I had much better results using a simple GCODE file (downloaded from Thingiverse) to move the head between the four corners, pausing at each. Much quicker too.

The board and nozzle is now clamp, can level it up or down any more. What do I do?

Don't forget to level your X axis arm first, then bed.

My printer doesn’t have manual leveling knobs. I am so frustrated. I auto leveled and bed is clean but can’t seem to print shit.

Idk if I’ve screwed something up with my printer or what, but no matter what, my springs never get tight for the bed, and they look all mangled. I’ve only printed like 10 things on it since I got it 3 months ago and it hasn’t been level for 2 months

Step One : Don’t buy Ender 3
Step Two : Buy Bambú Lab A1 or A1 Mini
