Few here still going strong since the eighties - hard to vote against that! 💪😎

Another 20yr + bike mechanic here. BSA still works. So easy to service.

Bsa's I've used are pretty much bomb proof.
Still running an original square sealed bsa on my steel track bike, which becomes my commuting fixie in off season. This bike was hand built in the 80's. Almost 40yrs now. Just goes and goes, is still silky smooth.

Square taper sealed bearing, steel frame, plenty o' grease.

Bsa is an inferior design. Used again because of the crap quality (even of the top brands, as they produce cheap frames and sell them for a fortune). And even bsa is not bulletproof: if u have a frame with one laminated/ glued in machined alloy piece - that might work, if u have two alloy pieces (one on each side), because of ‚weight saving‘, you’re doomed. They are often misaligned and have always the tendency to become loose.
Best BB i had so far (it even solves that issue). Bikone. With standard bearings.
