When engineers are left alone, beautiful things can happen!

I have a 795 with Zed crankset. 30000km and bearing are still perfect. The huge bb allows for the ultralight 1 carbon piece crankset. When you get one with the right tolerances it's the best system ever built. Sadly some are probably wrongly manufactured and create problems.

My sole is screaming "Oh god, what a proprietary nightmare! NO!!"

Look also did these on their high end olympic track frames with the zed crankset. Really nice cranks with length adjustment

The crank was sadly just too expensive to make. Amazing engineering. If only....

It’s just creaky bb30 - but bigger…
But because it was made by Look it worked.

i have had the pleasure of trying to remove this same crank set/BB except everything was seized! needless to say it wasn’t a very fun day in the shop

I just got my 596 Look track bike lucky for me there is a BSA shell installed. And it looks like if I rotate them it can adjust the height of the peddles. Would that be okay to do or safe for the drivetrain?

Don't know how but one eye shot and I knew it's Look... Logo only proved right.

Couple of used, like-new 22' Giant Trance Advanced MTBs in for buy/test/sell. A Trance and a Trance X. Both are Sram UDH and BB92. The DUB crank spindle is wearing as if there are massive ovalized issues... Easy to spot on the spindle after a solid, 2-days at 90-miles. It sure did feel like it was robbing me of watts after about 3-4 hrs or so. Naturally, I kept adding air into the rear shock not knowing where the real issues lie... As if, increasing PSI in an effort to not bog down, is a solution for full suspension MTBs.

It's just a fat plastic BMX. Nice idea though.
