Advice that's been spoken countless times before and and it still remains the best advice. There are no shortcuts.

It's almost like this video is reading my mind and rephrasing the plans I've made only last month. Been dabbling in game dev for many years, creating unfinished prototypes, usually trying stuff that's way too big and ambitious. Now, I did learn from it, but have little to show off. Also, 3D is hard, don't even bother. Godot - the engine I'm using - also happens to be quite lacking when it comes to 3D at this point in time. So now I've started a completely new, simple 2D puzzle game and my goal is to *actually* make it and have it played by someone.
