I'm adding to my previous comment. Why is there a lengthy lecture about the value of rejecting material things? I had the realization that comments about the man who had little, and implying that he was just as well off, or even better than the wealthy man show that this philosophy was created by well to do men who had time to sit and ponder all day. They were obvious out of touch with the stress and frustration and trauma that comes from having too little, which makes this whole approach seem pretty self indulgent. Besides that, the title of the episode was the power of calm, and that did not really seem to be the emphasis if the first fifteen minutes is all about the rapture of rejecting material things. That is a valid point of view, and I believe in it, but it just seemed a little too simplistic to say that rejecting material things gives you the power of calm.

I wonder if Björk was thinking Stoic when writing the song, It's in our hands
