Easy Peasy, I like it. FYI, take those screws out one at a time, drill for a wood dowel (1/4"?) and glue it. save a possible mishap that will cost a bit of $$ :>)

It looks like you're applying quite a bit of pressure on the front of that board going through the jointer. You need to be careful of that or you won't actually flatten the board, or you'll end up taking off a lot more material than you mean to. You want to apply a constant and event pressure going through. You don't really need a huge amount of downforce.
