Making Push Blocks for the Jointer

They look good and work. what else could anyone want. The doormat was a good idea and I will be at my local Pound shop this afternoon to pick one up.I see nothing wrong with you design and will be copying them but I will be using oak as this is the only hard wood I have.keep the videos coming I am enjoying them all

Just added a jointer/thicknesser to my shop and sure enough the stock push blocks are poor. So I’ll be converting some scrap and pallet wood to follow suit. Good stuff fella👍

When I made a push pad I used a cheap computer mouse mat. This works really well and didn’t cost much!

You know hardware stores sell those rolls of stuff that don't let wood move when you plan or sand it laying on your bench.

Just what I am looking for, for my 10.5" Jointer and Thicknesser which came with a narrow plastic pushstick identical to the type you get with a tablesaw 😲🙄 I'd much rather make pair like your ones than than having to use the already supplied useless pushstick 😁👍 When you pay over £500 for it you expect to at least get a couple of proper push blocks with it 🤔😢
