I Know What You Did Last (Brandy Tease) Summer Has Karla Cameo....??

Amazon's I Know What You Did Last Summer tv series didn't last but the series will return with a new movie from Jen Robinson and Leah Mckendrick. This was revealed last February and it will be a legacy sequel passing the torch to young stars. The original film starred Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr, and Ryan Phillippe. Hewitt and Prinze were asked to return reportedly, but Julie James return seems more important than Ray's. What's the latest on the script? Julie's importance has been explained by Leah Mckendrick. Jennifer Love Hewitt has confirmed talks for her return as Julie James have happened. Cast for the upcoming legacy sequel has been announced. Karla is still canon for this upcoming sequel. Jennifer Love Hewitt is officially back! Her status has allegedly caused drama on set. Ray and Julie will have scenes together and more according to Freddie Prinze Jr. Filming has officially wrapped on the IKWYDLS sequel. A new trailer was shown at cinemacon, but is the accident not the opening scene? People has dropped an exclusive first look at the film.

I want Karla back. I loved her character in the 2nd film. I also hoped that she’d have a much bigger part, but I’d be happy if she is at least in the movie.

It definitely sounds like it’s going to be a small cameo, like she’s going to appear via a FaceTime call etc. While not the best, I’d rather the character appear in some capacity, so would happily take that versus a throw away line of dialogue mentioning her, for example.

One fantastic "nod" is probably like a picture of them together on Julie's wall or Julie mentioning the events of ISKWYDLS in passing that could be a throwaway line.

Yes, I think Brandy will appear because, if they’re gonna play the game of, “Go watch the film, and find out”, surely they would realise that after the first day, people that watched it on day 1 would go online and tell the fan community if she was in it or not.
And that they would sell more tickets if people were made aware of the fact she was in it.
It just makes sense for ( them money wise)to cast her

I think they will just bring her in as a quick cameo on the phone with Julie and Julie, letting her know that is happening again with someone else and to Carla to just watch her back in case

Funny thing is: Julie in the first movie has African-American female best friends, but the scene was so brief and the actress it's not Brandy. In the second movie Brandy as Karla is her best friend. Did Julie changes best friend every year? Or Karla was supposed to be the college best friend that previously unnamed.
