I had ever being homeless for only around 3-4 days. I slept in a mosque, I was in unknown place for me I didn't know. I have met friend then ask for a place to stay, lucky me I got to know a place for only to rest and take a bath for free.
Then I decided to borrow some money to find cheapest flat and worked hard to find a job so I could pay off the debt I had borrowed and I did. Remember it again, makes me sad and grateful at the same time... I could pass through it.. Somehow

Is it scary on the streets?
Well yes and no.
You fear hypothermia in the autumn and winter.
If you avoid built up urban areas and city centres your less scared of being physically attacked.
You might fear insects and wild animals and being woken by people or dogs.
However you don't want to be to far from houses and places like shops or pubs.
Its not necessarily scary but your always alert and never sleep for long. Perhaps half an hour per circle, so in six hours you sleep for about two hours.
