The Total COST of my Heads/Cam C5 Corvette Z06 Build

In this video, I go over all of the things that I've done to my 2003 Corvette Z06 and their associated costs. One thing to keep in mind is that a lot of things were purchased used and I had a hookup on some labor. I had no idea I had spent this much on the car LOL

I got a c5 that I’ve thrown new heads, exhaust, cam, LEDS all around, and many other cosmetics inside and out, that have definitely cost me a big penny. All because I’ve seen all your videos which have inspired me greatly. So, thanks for the awesome vids but also hate you for making me spend way more than I should! Currently pushing 470hp and 430lbs/ft at the crank and NEED more!

Bro a full set of CCW Classics for sub $2000 is an absolute steal. A full set today new will cost you $5000-$6000 just for the wheels. I’m super jealous man. CCW classics are my favorite wheel but I can’t justify 6k for some wheels when it’s a track car that I’m going to beat the heck out of.

I do a lot of canyon driving with friends from around Texas and up north. Go to tail of the dragon, twin sisters in Texas etc. but I’m always a passenger, hopefully within the year I’ll have a c5, of course it won’t be a Porsche or 488 like some of the guys in the group but man I know they are fun. Have been watching since you got this when I was like 16, a lot has changed and it’s great to see you still upload.

I agree completely with timburris below. Great looking car. Quality parts for used prices. Someone else said you can't get a nice c5z for 15 nowadays. He's right. I've been looking, around here they're more like
25. Stock. That's how much our $ has depreciated. 😔

My 03 C5Z build is up to about $65-$70k….including the $24.5k I paid for it, but my car has a built/blueprinted engine, custom cut blower pistons, stage 2 BTR blower cam, MgW shifter w/ lower box, ARH catless headers into corsa extreme, custom valved bilstein shocks, al tunnel plate, carbon fiber torque tube, tint, LED tail & headlights, A&A vortech T3 blower, removed the hood insulation painted hood satin black, powdercoated stock wheels, painted the center caps, full dynamat interior, pioneer deck w/ Bluetooth audio, JL audio 10” sub w/ custom enclosure, 2x500watt JL audio amps & JL audio speakers front/rear. DBA brakes/hawk pads, rebuilt stock calipers w/ new pistons/seals/paint, Russell SS lines, I dunno what else I can’t even remember it all….but I DONT have a FAST intake yet lol😂😂😂😂 I have a McLeod RXT twin disc ceramic clutch w/ the speed bleeder too & dual nozzle meth injection
