AT95E vs Sumiko Oyster

Nice bass power in the Oyster, but lacks some air in comparison. I would love to see you do compares with the Sumiko Pearl and the others you have done. BTW, thanks for doing these, very well done and valuable.

The At95 sounds more spacious to me than the Sumiko which is a little studio sounding

Im afraid in the 4 years youtube made some changes to sound, in all your videos every cartridge sounds exactly the same. And having listened to others after i can only conclude that they killed the comparison possibility.

I listened to the comparison in open-air and I thought, " well, I like the oyster better" then I put on headphones and I liked the AT better.... Sigh.. what a finicky hobby lol.

Oyster being slightly more civilized at the top, where the AT95E is slightly hot at the treble' a tad too bright.

For me the AT95E wins, it is more energetic, airy, maybe lacks some bass but for that price, come on ;)

Is it just me or does the Oyster sound more "roomy"? The 95 is brighter...

The Sumiko brings a brighter edge to the sound. This is not a particularly good recording though.

Both sound bad. I've owned both carts, and even through ~5k$ in amps and speakers, Spotify still sounds better than my best 180g copy of Kind of Blue.
