I just got the DeWalt rolling miter saw stand model DWX726 for my Dewalt 12 inch sliding chop saw. Video is initial impressions and review, how to fold it up and down, how it works in my shop.

By far the best miter saw stand I've used. I tried to go cheap and bought the rigid for $99 and it's horrible lifting up. Tried a co-workers delta and it was trash. DeWalt nailed it on this stand

If you set it up AND IT WONT CLOSE
SWAP THE 2 CABLE POSITIONS ON THE TRIGGER!!!
It has more throw on the top position which needs to go to the spring to bring the slide back for release to be able to lower it.
I just got it and assembled yesterday out of box brand new and it had this issue.
Works perfectly now

Thanks for the review been looking at this stand for awhile. Also, they still have shop?! That's a good school right there.

Many people including me are unable to get the stand to fold down! Dewalt refuses to help as well. I've used mine twice and it folded perfectly the first time and not at all the second time. Followed other's advice to tighten the cable but that did not work either. So what is going on????

Gr8 video, what are the max (largest) distance the tool mounts will except? I have a 10" Sears Craftsman Radial Arm saw that I would like to be very mobile.
