Excellent summary for the rolling stand. The tension-release tip for the pneumatic lift is a must-see - not only makes it easier to operate, it prevents the closing problem some have experienced. You’ve obviously spent enough time with this stand to know how to operate it fluently.

I was seriously considering selling my dual bevel sliding 12" Dewalt (which I love) and getting something lighter...due to back issues. The rolling stand will be in my garage today...next to my rolling collapsible Dewalt job site table saw. Thank you!!!

Excellent information and demonstration. It helped immensely in deciding to buy the DWX726.

Good review. I own both of these miter saw stands as well as the larger DWX723 stand…all are excellent stands. I’d suggest buying either a pair of the 15” wide work supports w/material stops (DW7029) or a pair of the 15” roller versions (DW7027)…or a combination thereof, one of each. Solid made miter saw stands and optional wider material supports.

Thanks for the review. I got a big old craftsman sliding miter saw and was worried about tipping over when set upright. Glad to see your large miter stand resting easily.
This Dewalt stand will accept my craftsman offset mounting holes so it's the one I'm looking at. I don't want a mounting plate under it.

Thank you so much! I was always asking for help to open and close the table as it was too heavy for me to lift.. what a great trick!

Super review. Actually you convinced me to buy a less complicated design. I sure didn't want to have to make adjustments on a device like on a bike brake cable etc. Anyway nice job.

Great explanation and advice about needing it wide to move the saw. I haven't bought one yet. I have been using my saw horses and a 3/4 piece of plywood as my work station. Not having to carry in a sheet of plywood can be advantageous on certain jobs.

Great video. (Your truck's rear seat looks like my SUV until I bought a small van. Best vehicle purchase in years!)

You're a godsend and this is the best review I've found all day. Best part is you are the only one who compared both, which is perfect for me since I'm trying to decide between the two. Question for you? I can't remember if you mentioned the span of the stationary stand? I know you said 8 for the mobile stand, but I wasn't sure about the other. Would you say for someone like me who isn't going to be traveling with it, would you say the stationary is a better buy? Thanks!

I always stood the stand up while it was laying flat on the ground, and found it pretty heavy. Did not know about being able to open it while the stand was in the dolly postion

Thank you for the review. I am getting ready to buy a new wheeled saw stand and your review helped me eliminate this stand due the the narrow wheel base. I have a delta miter saw stand that has a lot wider wheel base and am considering getting another one. It is real similar to the Rigid wheeled stand. Also considering the Bosch Gravity rise stand.

Is there any risk to damage to the saw if you leave the saw attached to the rolling stand in a vertical position (so saw is sideway), and you leave it like that for months? Anyone hear story about saws having alignment problems after storing it in a vertical position for an extended period? Thanks.

How much does your saw weigh? Is it the 50-60 lb lb 60v one?
I have a 780 corded 12" saw and it's like 55 lbs. I was worried about getting the folding one for the weight of my saw. But if yours works then mine should
