the newest version of custom npcs lacks the whole thing of "NPCS will use melee attack instead of range when player is close to them in a certain range", this was in 1.7.10. what the heck happened, a lot of the AI was taken away??

Any idea why an npc will will spawn in my single player world but not in my multiplayer server? nothing from custom npcs will spawn. And i have the same mod list
