I really love this concept, but wish to see the improvements in rolling speed and dust protection at the bottom of the phone.

Soon front cameras will not be needed as high res rear cameras will do everything. Fold or roll, we're gonna get amazing compact phones in this decade and that excites me.

I love the concept - no worries about creases, but the longevity of the rollable function has me curious - as the saying goes " the more complicated the plumbing, the easier it is to plug up the drain " - maybe not the best analogy, but you understand.
A new gadget I would definitely embrace.

I'm more interested in having it stay in that short and wide form factor and let the thickness be a typical smartphone. I'm tired of reaching so far up to a notification bar. Bring back compact phones.

I love the concept but the durability of the extended screen is questionable as well as the bottom of the rolling section. The bottom will scratch quite a bit if there is no protection when you toss that in the purse or in your pant with lose coins. I also don't think this will make it pass the drop test yet. The roller can also get dirty easy if there isn't a way to stop dirt or dust from getting in and may cause phone to expand.

Thanks for this review. I love this concept and Motorola phones. I purchased both the RAZR and the 5G model at launch, so I'll probably get this one too. I just hope that ring screen gets faster... I'm already impatient with that scroll timing.

I always appreciate the sincere passion that comes from Josh and this channel. I actually too used to be excited about phones where now most reviewers spend 5+ minutes nitpicking if a color is too saturated for their taste. I just buy a midrange budget phone because the differences are negligible. For me, the last "fun" phones might have been LGs lines. But...they didn't sell so that's our decision.
