Can we save the paint on this Scotia Blue Volvo 245?

Recently we bought his blue 1983 245 as a parts car to assemble the green 83 242. As luck would have it, it's scotia blue! Easily the best color on a 240!!! Join me as I clean the ole gal up. Should we stick a motor in it and drive it?

Some colors tended to get associated with certain brands back in the day when you actually could choose something other than white, black and some sort of grey. The powder blue was definitely one I associated with Volvos.

those rims on that volvo 245 are INCREDIBLY RARE. Please for the love of god use them for something good.

Fix her up thats far too good to be a parts car....eventually everybody will buy a parts car and there will be none left for people who are just getting into old and classic cars to enjoy.
