Mr. Short Game, it does make a difference. After I adjusted mine, I became better looking and taller. May you hit nothing but fairways and greens. Thanks I am here all week!!!!

“Your brain has a mind of it’s own.” maybe the best golf instruction I’ve ever heard. So does my golf ball. love your show, Matt.

I LOVE YOU!!! I am your 60 year old woman golfer in Colorado who changed EVERYTHING FOR THE BETTER after watching your awesome video on how to properly hold the club (I was holding it right down the middle of my palm) and proper thumb placement (not stretching the hell out of my thumb down the shaft). I'm headed to the driving range and you always motivate me!!! I have an older (8 year old) Callaway Great Big Bertha women's driver with the Bassara shaft) that I can't get rid of. I LOVE this driver. I hit her as well or better than the newer drivers and that tells me she is a great driver for me. She has adjustments for fade/draw and I have her adjusted for my still on the fairway draw. I'm like you in that I like to see my ball fairly in the middle of the fairway unless I'm on a dog leg.

Would you please do a review on the best cost effective home (for my husband's man cave) practice set up like what you use in your basement/golf room?

Love from your biggest 60 year old golf friend!!!

very interesting! I found that having a buddy with me to change the driver settings without my brain knowing what he is doing, helps me from mentally & physically compensating for the changes. Thanks for the video!! Great work!

I recently played with the settings on my ts3 3 wood and was amazed at the difference even just a little change made going from A1 to C3. Just adding a little more loft and a little draw bias made the club much easier to hit getting the ball in the air and got the ball flight straightened out. It went from my 200 yard club to a 240 yard club

I understand this video is 2 years old, but the subject is spot on to what I experienced today at the driving range. I previously purchased a Callaway Big Burtha B21 with a 9.0 degree default. After playing with it a year I realized my lofts were way too high and I wasn't getting the distance I could have reached, if the loft time in the air could be reduced. For the first time I finally found the tool and made adjustments for the first time. The club as set with a "N" and a "S". I changed it to "-1" and "D". My goal was to reduce the loft by 1 degree which i achieved. Still not sure what the Lie change offers me, but I went to the range today and what a remarkable improvement!!!! No more blue sky high hits! And most importantly I gained about 50 yards with repeatability. My average distance was 250 yards. Now I can hit 300 for the first time, time and time again. Now I'll continue on to other improvements to get more power from the club head to the ball. Oh, the 300 yard hits were Straight ones. Thank you.

Love this. I found a setting that said "uprt, +1, +2, " I never knew was there. My irons I got fitted for were up +2. PXG also fitted my irons for stiff instead of what I normally would buy which were regular/upright. Adjusting my driver to +2, I cannot miss the face just above the center of the driver. I'm 5'9" with t-rex length arms. I feel this adjustment was like a miracle. Wish I would have known 10 years ago.

Got a Big Bertha B21 for Christmas and finally got to play with it Monday. I love this thing. Very forgiving and when I got it right, it went way further/straight than I've ever hit with my old cheap driver. I know I could use a lesson or two as I'm new to the game but I'll be messing with these settings on my next outing. Lol

I changed my setting and it made a real difference. Went from a 9 Degree to 11 Degree and it made my Drives more Consistent.

Ya, had trouble with spinny shots all my life then got a 917d3, set to D1 with the weight installed at draw bias. Finally got the ball flight I've been missing!

Fantastic! Just what I needed, simple and precise information. Bought a Titleist 917 D2 after a recommendation in a stiff shaft, knew I needed to move up to it, just wanted to tune the big stick in & voila there you were………….. keep the great vlog’s 👏🏽

Treated myself to a new driver for Christmas. Was fitted for a Ping G425, and had an extra degree of loft (up to 11.5) and the weight set to draw setting to straighten me up a little (as a natural fader). So yeah agreed, it makes a big difference.

After watching your video, I have a much better understanding of the driver settings. I wish we had something similar with the irons. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the detailed info. I tried a similar test with my Tsi2 9° on an outdoor launch monitor and had a little less conclusive results but found comfort in the A2 setting. Thank you for this one.

Over 15 years ago in early years of moving weights on drivers it was clear anyone with strong grip pressure took all the advantage (if any) out of moving the have found that true with adjustable hosels also. Not enough is said about the effect on grip pressure when it comes to how the club head will or will not help with ball flight....strong grip pressure is better for the fader of the ball soft grip is better for draw player.

Wuz up brotha, thank you man! Was going to take my tsr2 over to PGA store to adjust my hosel, but after your vid.no need! I also was going right at the standard A1 and took that B2 to the range, then the course, working great! Keep up the great vids brotha!

Love your content Mr Short Game and not hating on this video at all but… I’m not convinced results are as great as this suggests. On a larger data set I do think strike over rides everything and the numbers would be much closer. However, I absolutely agree with you on the look aspect, I hate to see a driver look like it points left ….
