How to adjust your driver settings (and why you should!)

Adjustable driver hosels can change loft, lie, and face angle to really help you dial in the height and shape of your golf shots. So it's great to know how to adjust your driver settings to get the best performance.

Whether you want to hit it higher, lower, or reduce a slice, there is a setting that will help your golf game.

Our gear expert Hannah Holden met up with Titleist custom fitter James Robinson to show you just how much changing the hosel can affect your shot shape, as well as showing you how to adjust your driver settings yourself.

They take a particular deep dive into the Titleist TSi3 driver adjustability options, including the SureFit Hosel and weight track. So how does a neutral setup perform compared to maximum draw settings or maximum fade settings?

You'll have to watch the video to find out...

Best video out there. Hands down. Finally someone answered all my questions.

Great explanation. I got fitted into TSi2 at A1 last year but struggled with lower launch and knuckleballs outdoors so tweaked it to A4 myself. That helped increase launch and carry but also helped me hit baby draws which is my desired shape. It’s been a really consistent fairway finder.

Thank you. I have a 917 D that is set on D2 hosel which countered my slice plus I also grip slightly stronger allowing me to stripe the ball left to straighter down fairways.

Thank you so much for asking about lefties. That would’ve taken me a while to figure out I’m sure. I just picked up a tsi3 3 wood and I’m looking foward to hitting it at a baseline instead of going through 16 settings to figure this out haha.

Was launching my driver quote high and 3000rpm spin so changed it from 10.5 to 9 degrees, I’ll see how that goes

Great video Hannah, very interesting. Do you play the women’s shaft or men’s? Talking about length of shaft

May I ask your swing speed?? And why you prefer the TSI3 over the 2? I really enjoy your videos.

In your video, when he uses tool to tighten, there is an audible click. Does the click come from the tool, or the club? Some where else I heard tighten to the first click.

She hits a very good question that wasn’t really answered. When dropping loft, the face opens up a bit, great. But how do we take advantage of the setting adjustment, if we just end up squaring the clubface at address. Does that not just negate setting we have made by dropping the loft? Or are we supposed to play with the face slightly open at address? Please anyone?

Love your videos. I just got my Titleist TSR3 9degree driver. Started dialing it in yesterday. Love the options to change ball flight. I so far like the D3 setting. May tweak the rail setting a bit.
Tried the new TSR2 hybrid and have one coming. Needed to fill the gap and needed 190-205 and hit the numbers perfect.
Keep the content coming.😊🏌🏼💥

OK. Took a bit, but I get it. I have one suggestion. At 3:14 when you go to the full screen graphic of the chart - he's talking about it in the video, but you covered his part up so we don't really see his explanation in real time! Only at 3:43 do we seem him again as he was finishing pointing to the chart. It would have been helpful to see him in a closeup point to the chart AS HE'S SPEAKING for a fuller comprehension.
