What lie angle would you recommend for a 43.50" driver? Upright or Standard setting taylormade adapter

how does reducing loft on the drive OPEN the face?? if i open the face on my 9 iron I turn it into a gap wedge, not a 7 iron

Awesome 👏. By lowering the loft 1.5° it will also make the club 1.25° more upright (from 56 to 57.25). By doing that wouldn’t it make you hit the ball more to the left? So opening the face by 3° offsets the increased upright lie angle ? In other words it won’t cause the ball to hook left. I have the same problem with my miss being left so I really need to get a hold of this concept. I just bought a 2016 M2 at 10.5° of loft. I plan on doing the same thing lowering it by 1.5° of loft to 9° and opening the face by 3°.
I haven’t hit it yet but will have my custom fit next month
