It is written by Henry Gayden (“Shazam!,” “There’s Someone Inside Your House”) and Chris Morgan (“Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw,” “The Fate of the Furious”), based on characters from DC; Shazam! was created by Bill Parker and C.C. After the past couple trailers, I was not expecting them to make this an emotional movie. Making Billy struggle with whether he can do this, and also when he takes it upon himself to finish it, could make for some very good story. Excited to see it!
