These prots in the comments really getting heated that Catholic have the OG rituals and formulas down to a T. I will pray for the conversion of hearts for all those who have a hardened heart. May God bless you all.

He's right the only VALID baptism is the Trinitarian formula baptism (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) according to Matthew 28:19.

I'm preparing to get baptized myself 😁
I will be baptized by the bishop of Angers (France), I'm so happy, I can't wait !!

Not Protestant or catholic but in my opinion, I would also add that it has to be done by someone with the authority. (Like a priest)

a: i cannot find anything from Scripture nor from the Church Fathers to support the idea that a baptism is invalid if more than one person administers it. (if i missed something, please correct me)
b: they do employ the Trinitarian formula. you don't even have to listen that closely. they obviously say "...Son and The Holy Spirit!" as the baptism is being performed (i believe you can hear one girl say "Holy Ghost" as well).

I am an orthodox christian, my whole family is orthodox...for some time I used to go to protestant church but I am thinking to go back to orthodox. I was losing my hope in church fathers and I was heartbroken in orthodox church but I realized that if humans do you wrong god has nothing to do with it. God loves his people and he will lead us. I also seen a local orthodox church here recently where priest seems really kind person and they even do charity and help people ❤ pray for me 🙏

If they or she actually said in the name of the father son and holy Ghost or holy spirit it's a valid baptism

Only by AN Anointed priest of God, administering repentance, confession baptism, all individuals have to be trained, , they must have changed, turned from sin! And turn to GOD TO BE SAVED! A change of heart, a change of mind and a change of life and to obedience to the commandments to keeping the sabbath on the seventh day of the week. And observing Passover Jesus said do this in memory of me keep the Passover Seder, keep God’s Commandments. Keep the sabbath dayHoly Than you she’ll do well . keeping Jesus teaching.❤😊

36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, "See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?"
37 Then Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."
38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him.
39 Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing. Acts 8

1) Trinitarian, and not a "non-trinity" like Arianism
2) Intent to impart salvific grace of the Holy Spirit
3) Water, preferrably immersion.
However, Baptists and Pentecostals don't believe that it imparts salvific grace.

So why respect something thats not valid or false. Sounds like legalism to me. Nothing about what the heart of the person whose being baptized. God looks at the heart but you want to make it an outward thing and about what exact words that were said by someone else...
If we say that the catholic baptism wasnt valid cause all you did is sprinkle a baby who doesn't even know what they are doing, you would think its the most arrogant statement in the world. We say the same here

I see prots practicing a baptism like these in my area, you really see the repentance and the way they live more aligned with what God wants. They baptize not for religion or any legality of documents, they are baptized and decided to start new life with Jesus, they always do a typical Christian supposedly be doing.. While baptism in Catholics here, just for formalities, so just you can marry on catholic church or can start the first communion or be buried on catholic cemeteries etc. Baptism here is just for formalities mostly and you can't see people took it to their heart and change. Even babies are baptized early for funding and they choose financially able godparents. Yes I know its a sacrament but let me tell you, people in catholics in my area, don't see it as sacrament, it's just for formalities or so you can just be denominated.

It sounded like you were going to say at the end something about three? But it got cut off. What were you going to say?

It's swimming and enjoying secular life. This is how dangerous the non catholics go about Baptism. The Bible does not say to laugh and make a mockery of the sacred sacrament in a drinking session in a river..

For the Prots in the comments: what convinces you that the Bible is the inspired Word of God?
