I can see why Asphalt isnt optimized for android subsystem. We already have asphalt in the windows store. Windows store version runs fine.

Why do you even want to run Android apps like YouTube and Netflix when they are available right in the browser and works 10x better😂. The only thing that makes sense are Games. Because, you can play at high settings when you have a low end phone but have a good laptop. Also you don't have to worry about battery running out.

I've been using windows 11 since the first beta and ngl its actually good i did get a slight increase in my battery an performance

I've been using them for the day the came out and they work super well. Some apps don't work at all, but the apps that work work super well. I'm surprised at how well they work in an initial release.
Edit: The camera works - there's a built in camera app in the subsystem that can access the webcam.

But W11 has many more customization and its Amazing AF.

Camera access works fine for me.
I Think they should find some way to allow key mapping like emulators.

I would rather just use web versions of these apps for most part. I would just love to see android games to come with acceptable frame rates like clash royal, coc, marvel contest of champs, mortal combat etc.. that would be fun to play on big screen

7:03 BS is not just using 100MB there will be other tasks which are named different(I don't remember their names now) which will occupy some more RAM. But again it wont be as high as 2GB for just normal Playstore opened.

I sideloaded apps on my machine and installed nova launcher which revealed certain other apps like camera contacts etc just like on phone. That camera app was able to access my camera easily and actually had a better quality than on windows camera app. I didn't check the instagram app for camera though.

Don't think android apps support they brought is intended for laptops. It would be cool on something like duo with windows

Why one would compromise and get this? Its not like we need it anyhow, our work gets done even without it. Ofcourse, when it'll be stable, then it'll be a plus for windows to have android apps.
