Minelab Equinox 800 Vs. Gold Monster 1000

In this video i bring both the equinox 800 and the Gold monster 1000 to a little nugget patch that i found earlier in the week. I compare both detectors responses on in-situ targets.

Jumped on board, nice video. I agree that the EQX 800 does super well and have showed same. BUT the GM 1000 would still be my call if hunting gold only. I ignore the #s when gold hunting....Great video!

In your experience, which metal detector of the two would you recommend me to take Minelab Gold Monster 1000 or Minelab EQUINOX 800 and 6 Inch Coil

Will a gm 1000 fit on a exinox shaft? Is it the Same diameter up top and are the coil ends the same width /bolt diameter the same? Can't find these specs anywere, thank's

Hello, great comparrisson video. I also have both units. They are both great gold machines. But i use the monster usually first. Hey i also wanted to get in contact with you about some Lidar data for my area. Somewhere i seen a map of US and my area has only a little data. But it looks like there is some areas of green on the map i saw that i guess was lidar data available. They were in a few of my gold areas. I would really like to get the lidar data for those spots. Im not sure i could ever figure out how to do the programs to use the data. I would be interested in getting the data from you if possible. Thanks

So I own an equinox and have been wonder if a gold monster coil would be adaptable to it and seeing as you own both it would be interesting to see if the coils are interchangeable and if there would be any advantage to putting a gold monster coil on my eq

I think I'd have to put my money on the gold monster 1000 for ease of use, clarity and depth.
On that other thingy you were using, the controller is just to busey.

It looks like you got the 6” coil for the 800. Question, is there a specific 6” coil I should buy? Looks like there is a couple for the 800. I found one called the 6” smart coil. Is that what I want? Thanks
