What Are Desktop.ini Files, Is It Safe To Delete or Hide Them?

1. Open File Explorer.
2. Select the View tab.
3. Select Options.
4. Select the View tab.
5. Scroll down and check Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
6. Scroll down further and uncheck Hide protected operating system files (Recommended). Select Yes to accept the warning message.
