You forgot one thing: on a non virtual machine, the Bootmanager is located on C. If you delete it, the bios won't even notice the windows installation and think that there's no operating system installed.
On a virtual server it is somewhere else.

In german windows the directory Users shown name is Benutzer (german word for users).
This applies because this word is set as name in the desktop.ini. The real directory name still is Users.
This also applies for Pictures, Documents and so on (Bilder, Dokumente).

When you minimize an UWP app, after some time Windows will write the entire process memory to the swap file. This is not the case with desktop apps where sections of process memory is written in random locations. To prevent issues with older apps that use uncontrollable IPC methods, Microsoft decided to create a new file for WinRT apps in Windows 8.

That desktop.ini is so annoying, I can't even get rid of it or even move it somewhere else.. It just comes back!

I guess the reason for the hybernation file disappearing is just security. If you change or modify the file, it gets removed. Otherwise ypu could maybe manipulate the systems behavior after waking it up from hibernation.

Windows: I will repair myself now

4:55 as you unlocked the hiberfil.sys file, the system couldn't sync opened startup apps on it for the fast boot.
So it's safe to assume windows disabled both hybernation and fast boot as a response, making the file unnecessary therefore removing it.

You delete desktop.ini

Desktop.ini dates back to Windows 95, it's original function was to define certain folders as "special folders", for example the Fonts folder. If you delete desktop.ini from that folder, it will no longer show the fonts in the usual way, it'll just show them as their raw files like any other folder.

Some clarification about swap file - windows (any os, so to speak) uses it when there's no more memory left. That's why the size of this file is not that big compared to the page file. However, when OS does use it, computer works very very slow but it's better than crashing.
The page file on the other hand, stores things in memory that aren't used that often, exactly as you said

For the hibernation mode, I guess what happen is, the unlock program trace back what programs use the file and force end it, which on the hibernation feature probably have the same effect as to disabling yourself manually the hibernation feature, Windows probably have a separated function that doesn't use the file itself but monitor those system programs, and if one shut down, rather than said program having itself to clean files, the monitoring program do the job.
And since, for avoiding to wait for an extended time that the RAM is dumped into that file, the program handling hibernation probably constantly write some part of the RAM into that file, which is why you can't delete it and why it is in use, I would be curious to know if the hibernation feature is still enabled or if you had to re-enabled it after deleting this file.

I was really in doubt about what the heck is desktop.ini. Thanks a lot

Normally desktop.ini only appears in any folder when the user customizes the folder icon to something else. So, deleting desktop.ini normally just reverts the folder icon customization.

I've been deleting that since I was a kid lol. And then I used to wonder what the heck happened to the desktop wallpaper 😂

Please try using the File Shredder program. It might be able to delete those files while Windows is running.
