Learned everything I know so far from this guy. First time gardening ever was with gutters, indoors. Had 40+ lettuce and some spices growing all on two shelves in my apartment. This year I have a yard, I can’t WAIT to expand the operation 😁 especially with the price of groceries now!

I just finished making my first 6 trays just like these. I am starting more seeds today for them. Looking forward to growing better food! Thank you!

Great video. This is what we have been doing all week, cleaning and organizing while we have a cold snap here in Georgia!!

This is a fantastic method. Although, do you think there would be microplastics from the pool noodle getting into the food, especially with UV exposure?

Is the “How To Make Gutter Planters” on a different playlist? I picked up 2 pool noodle’s recently and would like to start small. Thanks in advance.

Awesome montage❗️ Does lettuce and Swiss chard etc need the Masterblend in the water right away? Will it work with plain water for short crops? Any ideas? Love your work and am planning my balcony garden 🙌🌞

How did you attach the gallon jugs to your metal apparatus? I love watching your ingenious ideas and the fact that you share them to help others.

Can I ask a question we have. We ate new here. Do we have to transfer the hydroponics plants into the soil later in its growth or can we leave it in the pods (or what ever we use for hydroponics)

Thanks for answering us

I live in Texas and I've not been able to get any plants to produce anything but buds in the last 2 years. My grand parent's garden was in red sandy soil and they didn't spend hours a week tending it. They tilled, sowed, watered, gleaned, and always had abundant harvests. I can't tell you how much money I invested in soils, composts, fertilizers, tools, containers, and hundreds of hours of prepping and planting with nothing to show for it. With 4 grandsons, I can get plenty of juice and milk jugs, but I don't have the tools to make the drainspout gardens, which seem to take up less space. 🤔

I think with so many little reservoirs you will have limited productivity and struggle to balance ph, resulting in waste from needing to change the water more frequently. If you took full length gutters or pool noodles and trickled water through them with a pump or from one reservoir to another moved back up with a bucket, you would have better oxygenation of the roots and it would be easier to manage the solution

Since I'm ignorant to hydroponics, I'm going to ask a stupid question. Those green things look like thin sliced pool noodles. However, it must be something else, so what is it?

Love the video but I have a question. You seem to be putting the plants in stagnant water and my assumption was that if the roots come in contact with water that does not have any flow, it will be more likely to rot. Is that not the case?

What kind of silicone are you using to attach the ends? I purchased a set from one of your links.
