Tom Winters Barbers in Cork is your shop for a relaxing unrushed traditional barbering experience. Take some time to disconnect from all your worries in the world with a haircut or hot towel shave to bring you back to life and ready to take on the remainder of your day.

Haircut with Lorenzo Piras. Cut with the natural flow of the hair so hair falls naturally. Faded back and sides with a taper. Manageable for everyday without too much effort and at the same time, nice looking and a nice style.

Lorenzo grew up in Sardinia and comes from a family of hairdressers. His mom and stepdad worked as teachers in a prominent hairdressing school, and they taught him everything.

A couple years ago, Lorenzo felt he needed a change and made the decision to move to Ireland where his girlfriend was living 🇮🇪 Barely in the country for a week and with limited English, Lorenzo stopped by Tom Winters Barbers seeking a haircut.

The shop was booked out for months so Lorenzo was turned away by owner and barber Stephen Winters.

Later that day, Stephen realized why Lorenzo had looked so familiar as he had seen his work on social media. Stephen quickly reached out to Lorenzo and when he found out Lorenzo had moved to Cork, he invited him back over… Not for a haircut but a job!

Lorenzo has been a fixture for over two years now at Tom Winters Barbers! When customers are in his chair, he wants them to feel full of trust, safe, and relaxed. Lorenzo says he wants to give customers “the same experience I would love to have if I was a customer myself.”💈❤️

Lorenzo is very thankful to his family and girlfriend for their love, support, and staying by his side. He is also "thankful to Stephen for the opportunity and the trust he gave me and for the future we're building together in Tom Winters Barbers."

Opened in 2017 by Stephen Winters. The shop took Stephen a year to complete the buildout and included laying salvaged wood flooring from an old convent and reclaimed bricks from an old industrial chimney in Belfast. Both blend well and give the shop that rich texture and depth that only old materials can. Along with the handpicked antiques, the space has a warm and cozy atmosphere.
