To shed a little bit of light on this topic. In Spain the song was popularized by some tiktoker, who looked like Cucurella and decided to make the song. His name is Adri Navarro. He probably doesn't know very much about football, but made the song because people were asking him to, and made up some lyrics like the "Haland tiembla, que viene Cucurella".
The song was kinda popular and when Spain won, people wanted Cucurella to sing it, to "embrace the meme". On that stage, when the crowd is shouting at him to sing the song, he answers something like "I didn't even want to sing it, but I knew I coudn't get away with not singing it".
So yeah, the song in Spain is considered really really light banter, and he is by no means "taking shots" at Haaland like it is said in the video.

It's a strange phenomenon. I went into the euros thinking Cucurella is bad and wil be liability for Spain, ended up having a very good tournament and impressing me, right back to being bad again

I remember him at the Barcelona academy. He as clearly special and looked like a future first division player. But he was very offensive and suffered in the defensive. However, he was a key player.
England hates that a player without "media" fame in the premier has shown in the Euro that he is better than scores of marketing gigs.

It just sounds like basic banter; Haaland is the back-to-back golden boot winner from a rival in their league- so of course that's who, as a defender, you direct the bravado at. All in the game. Calling it "singing bad things" about Haaland is a stretch.

Cucurella is a funny guy if you ask me, as a Spaniard. The song comes from a TikTok meme, made by someone who kinda looked like him. His pairing with Nico Williams was wild in the Euros and you can see that in many videos online. Man's attacking sense is insane, at first I didn't believe he's a fullback 

Not sure what's going on at Chelsea but if I could make a choice, I'd take him back to La Liga. Probably not to Barça though, they hate him and he hates them so

- He didn't make the song, it is a song made by the fans and he sang it because everyone was asking him to do it. When you've just returned to Spain, celebrating, drinking... And everyone in the crowd is asking you to sing it is difficult not doing it, but i get why some people could be upset.
- About the handball against Germany, UEFA's pre-tournament briefing on handballs gave a specific example just like Marc Cucurella, saying it should NOT be a handball penalty when the arm is close to the side, pointing predominantly down/vertically, and/or a position behind line of the body. Apart from that Fulkrug touched it with his arm before Cucu did, but everyone forgets about that.
- Yeah, hes not doing good at Chelsea, but who is doing good at Chelsea? hahaha I think he could play a lot better in a different team with different tactics. He is not Roberto Carlos, but he is a good player.
- Unfortunately for me, I'm a Getafe fan hahaha I really like him, apart from what you've said he contributed a lot in attack by pressing high and making many crosses, he actually played as a left mid in Getafe while Olivera was the left back.

He didn't make the song, it was just a meme from tiktok and because it was a popular meme, he started using it as a joke, not that he really thinks like that. He was booed against City? No wonder, Spain won against every english, no matter what club they are.

1. He is not responsible for that transfer fee (between the clubs)
2. That handball was not his fault that it was not given as a penalty (blame the ref)
3. That song was nothing personal with Haaland he was happy, look closely Rodri (haaland's teammate is even singing along)
4. Cucurella is a good player he had a difficult time adjusting to Chelsea because of the price tag, because of the situation at Chelsea just, it has been difficult for almost everyone hence managers coming and going.
