"My hatred for humans outweighs my love for attention for them" I just wanna say... I'm a fan of that.

It was refreshing to see someone actually enjoy her jokes while reacting to this video for a change!

We really need to do a better job at teaching kids about this stuff. I could have easily figured out I was bisexual when I was like 11, but I didn't know it even was a thing. I knew gay and straight, and I knew that gay was supposedly wrong (small town catholic school). I later went on to go to a very progressive high school where I got a better grasp on what sexual and gender identities actually are, how they can differ, and all that jazz. It really would've spared me a lot of time, self hate (and money I later had to spend on therapy oops) if I could've just been introduced to it at a younger age.

On that note, the 'don't say gay' bill that passed in Texas is absolutely terrifying, like actually dystopian. This stuff isn't like algebra or cursive, this shit is important to learn for everyone, it can literally save lives. There's a direct correlation between the level of education on sexual and gender identity and suicide rates among queer (and even straight) youths. So yeah, really glad Jaiden talked about this, really sad to see some of the reactions but I hope it can play a small part in moving towards a better environment for all of us.

Great reaction as always, love how you're able to engage with the content you watch! Keep up the good work.

I'm Biroace (bi-romantic asexual) and yeah, I felt the whole broken, "something's wrong with me" thing before I learned that asexual was a thing and I wasn't the only one. Now that I've found my identity I no longer feel broken. This is exactly why representation matters. I would have loved it if I had known about asexuality when I was a teenager. I didn't learn until my mid twenties. Jaiden's video is great for that so more people can find themselves faster and stop feeling broken if they feel broken.

It's nice to see Jaiden reactions are back! The people are fricking out(in a bad way) about Jaiden coming out and teaching these stuff to her child viewers which to me makes no sense but you know people be people.
Also lovely to see another Youtuber being confident enough to comeout, being a Gay person myself in a country that is very anti-LGBTQ+, I know the struggle and fear of it, Especially in an unpredictable place like Youtube.

Watching this has caused me to seriously consider the notion that I am aromantic on top of being bisexual.

and when I thought I did feel intimate and romantic attraction.. it was aesthetic and sensual attraction all along! Damn! "Unlucky"! 😂😂
love how open and strongly relatable she is. Glad she feels this confident about it because of all that aro/acephobia going on even in LGBTQ+ community itself..

10:23 this is how I feel as well. Maybe that’s because I’m in 8th grade but still I despise middle schoolers

"I don't know what pan means, man." Pansexuality is usually described as gender not being a factor in whether you find people attractive. You just get attracted to people. Sometimes, people with narrow personal definitions of bisexuality (usually something like considering bi as being attracted to 2 genders and no more, or lacking attraction to trans/NB folks) will use pansexual to describe someone who's attracted to both flavours of cisgender folks plus trans/non-binary/anyone in between... but a lot of bisexual folks (including myself) will take issue with that since they do find trans and non-binary folks appealing.

It can turn into a semantics game and honestly there is a lot of overlap between folks who identify as bi and pan. Many older folks like myself will use both and feel zero conflict since we use a broader and more inclusive umbrella meaning of bi. Younger folks seem to fuss over the labels a bit more but us old-timers spent decades with "bi" being the term for anyone who's attraction wasn't specifically limited to men or specifically limited to women.

I sometimes crudely condense the distinction down to pan being "I am attracted to people regardless of gender" and bi being "I am attracted to people of more than one gender, possibly all, but I appreciate each in their own way". Kind of a genderblind vs liking more than one gender thing. And even there, I am sure a lot of folks would disagree with me since there are active debates on the meaning of both bi and pan in some quarters.
