She wasn’t in the wrong, actually she handled the whole situation way better than she needed to. Perfectly polite, respectful, and went out of her way to do the editing herself and send a version of it back that she was comfortable with. Unfortunately most people don’t give a shit about boundaries and respecting other peoples comfort zones. I really wish the person with that original video had respected her wishes and just used the edited version that she didn’t even have to provide, but made the effort to do so.

edit- yes, he did apologize, but that really doesn't make up for it. Besides, the apology didn't come before after he had started to feel a lot of backlash. Its reasonable to believe he only apologized to stop his rapid decline in subscribers,

One thing I admire about Jaiden is that she never said their name, she could have called out this person for how they were ignoring her and she would have been in the right, but she never did because she doesn't like drama, specially if she's the one starting it

Of course people put two and two together and they figured out it was Alex Clark almost right after her video explaining why she didn't showed her face (until that moment) was uploaded (they first though it was Rebecca Parham from LetMeExplainStudios, but Jaiden said it wasn't her)

Did Alex ever apologize for this? like the fact that he did that even after her editing it and saying she was uncomfortable is outright horrible. he put views over his friends mental health and that isn't okay.

For anyone that that wants to know why Jaiden didn't want her face shown:

She had planned for Vidcon a while before it happened. But when it was time to go, she was depressed and in the wrong state of mind to be in front of a lot of people. Jaiden didn't want to upset her fans so she forced herself to go.

After this came out he made an apology, where he basically didn’t apologize and said that it looked better without the edit and so he choose not to edit it.

What they hell is wrong with that dude. If someone asks to have their face hidden, then hide their face

Are you kidding me? He disrespected and exploited one of Jaiden’s insecurities for clout but also threw away the hours of work she spent editing the footage AND on top of that, didn’t even ask her after she edited the footage, he just said “this is what I’m going to do” not “are you comfortable with me doing this?”. Completely inappropriate and gross. That isn’t even his face to reveal. She can do it on her own time without the pressure of a gaslighting, manipulating clout chaser who saw her as an object without feelings to be showed off.
