showing up is the biggest thing not materialistically but emotionally. ❤️

As someone who was in a highly abusive first marriage and whose parents always showered me with gifts, I would recommend prioritizing how you communicate, model healthy communication within romantic relationships, and model healthy ways to discuss challenges.

You can get nice things from men who break your nose and give you concussions …

Sometimes people dont have enough for big things so they have to fo the bare minimum but this is sweet!

Or teach her to value the sentiment of a gesture

Showing love is enough, no need to drown her with expensive gifts that will turn her materialistic

When we overindulge our children, we unintentionally teach them that immediate gratification is the norm. This can make it harder for them to develop important life skills like:
• A sense of gratitude instead of entitlement
• Healthy coping strategies for challenges
• Self-discipline and patience
• Realistic expectations about life and relationships

Instead, we can nurture their growth by:
• Encouraging effort and perseverance
• Teaching the value of patience and delayed gratification
• Helping them build character and self-worth that isn’t tied to material things

By guiding them with love and intention, we empower them to become resilient, compassionate, and fulfilled individuals.

I am living vicariously through your YT shorts, and it is so evident that you love your children so deeply and they cherish their parents just the same. May God bless your family always ❤❤❤

My dad was my valentines since I was born and still is now (I’m 25) always get gifts, flowers and chocolates. Nothing like your dad to show you how you deserve to be treated. But expensive and big isn’t what should matter. Personal is

some of yall forget some people genuinely show their affection through gifts! my dad and i are autistic and struggle with verbalizing emotion (especially me) and both tend to fill that struggle gap with thought out gifts and acts of service, non verbal ways to show we listened and care
