As an England fan, I came into this Euros optimistic… and rightly so… we had the Prem and La Liga POTY and Europe’s top scorer. But after the sh1t sandwiches Gareth served us in the group stages, my perception of the team changed and I couldn’t see this team progressing beyond the quarters.
I’d already come to peace at being knocked out during the 85th minute of the Slovakia game.
But then the Jude moment happened… and every single minute since then has been a bonus. The resilience they've shown in the knockout matches has made me believe again.

So come Sunday, win or lose, this England side has exceeded my expectations.
If Spain win, fair play… they have been the best team in the tournament and fully deserve it.
But if England win it, they would fully deserve it too for being the ONLY team able to stop Spain… Croatia couldn’t, Italy couldn’t, Germany couldn’t and France couldn’t.

Either way, come Sunday, I am just happy that I can support my country in another major final… which is a lot more than what many of these England haters can do!!!!
