My auntie, Uncle and little cousin all lived in a high rise apartment in Yokohama when the earthquake happened. When I’d heard about it it was only around 10 maybe 12 in the morning. My family desperately tried to contact them via telephone, FaceTime, messaging etc. Fortunately the were okay. They had escaped their apartment with some friends and had gone to a park for safety. A few months later they came back home to Scotland where they now love. I still remember seeing the images of the tsunami and Fukushima disaster to this day...God bless the emergency workers who helped save people that day.

18 out of 19 comments were censored. Those must have been people that wanted to celebrate the cleanup and containment.

To know that 4 people died in March this year is very disheartening. It really goes to show that our lives are very fleeting, gone before we can do anything to protect it. On that note, I wanted to share the Gospel, as it is impossible to calculate if you will be standing before God in a few weeks or even today.
God created us to have a relationship with him, but we messed that up when we chose sin and rebellion against him. Yet even though we deserved eternal destruction for this horrible decision, he chose to give his one and only son to die on the cross for our sins. None of us are good enough to get to heaven, so when Jesus rose from the grave, he defeated death and allowed us to have a way to the father. So even though there is still physical pain suffering and death, one who puts their faith in Christ and Christ alone (John 14:6 says, 'Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.') will be saved from such pain and suffering eternally. Repent and believe today, and submit your will to his. I pray these families will be okay, and that they (you too) will believe in the way to the Father. Have a nice day!
