I had this shroud 3d printed for my Noctua desk fan and it is the best fan of its type. It's silent. Period

Will be avaiting the reviews. Definitely interesting to see an overengineered version of somethign that is usually very low-tech and low-cost. I imagine it also helps them with their main business to have some experience with airflow engineering like that.
The dedication to their fiel they are showing makes me happy to continually support them.

Honestly a quantity desk fan is a great idea, most I've seen sound bad and don't work well.

I got a NH D15 LTT Edition, 3x NF A12x25 and 2x NF-A14 on my current rig. I'm a big fan of their services and products, and as much as I may want this, $100 is a bit too steep.
Still! Very interested and curious to see how this one will play out: I have faith in this brand.

It's 2023 July, and it's not only still not out, I can not see it on their product roadmap either. Based on that, it is either cancelled entirely, or coming in 2025, or, soonest in Q3 2024, but I doubt that.

I understand Noctua fans have a premium price — I have 6 various Noctua fans plus the NH-D15 and 2 NA FC-1s so I'd like to think I'm a standard Noctua customer — but $100 USD is a lot for a desk fan.


I have a Lasko High Velocity Fan that cost $60. Granted it is not ever going to be a quiet product...$100 doesn't justify the small amount of air a desk fan can push in comparison to a cheaper high velocity fan. I don't think I'd pay more than $30-35 for this.

Ok. The footprint is unnecessarily big, the fan should be removable / moddable at this price point. But good idea nonetheless.
