Meanwhile somewhere 39 lightyears away, someone is sitting on the toilet watching a documentary short about an exoplanet called EARTH 🌎

We are alone
We are not alone
Both ways is equally terrifying

The ehing is, if we keep observing planets in the HABITABLE ZONE, we may never find extraterrestrial life, they may not follow the same rules of nature

I’d love to visit the Trappist system. Sadly they are tidally locked. Which means one side will always be facing the sun and the other side will continue to face the deep darkness of space.

Bet money there are Galaxies out there with 2 or 3 HABITED planets out there. Could u imagine Looking up at Another planet in youre solar System Seeing life... Trippy

Oh, just 39 light years away, that's just down the road from us. When are we moving there? 😅

One light year is over 8.6 thousand billion miles away. NASA spacecraft currently travel about 23, 000 mph in open space. Voyager 1 took 45 years to travel 14.6 billion miles. I doubt if we will have the means to travel there within this century.

Also orbiting a Class M star ... a red dwarf. Tidally locked, and red dwarfs tend to spew huge amounts of charged particles, flares, etc. so define "habitable."

If this planet actually suits humans then 40 light years isn’t an impossible obstacle. You have to imagine how advanced our AI will be in the next few hundreds or thousands of years.

AI can travel in space for hundreds of years if necessary, then AI can be our tool to set up the infrastructure we need to live on the planet. Only when we’re able to travel as close to light speed as possible, we’ll actually send humans to go live there.

For me i think it's trappist 1F that most suitable

Funny thing not a single planet with vegetation has been found yet.

I'm sure James Web will catch an
object floating or powered one of these days, Also it is hard to believe we are alone with billions of planets out there, I mean we exist.

It's so tough for life to form at a complex level. So many factors

Unless we discover or Invent a wormhole or space Warping mechanism, there's no way to even imagine traveling those distances. Only massless particles such as photons and gravitons travel fastest. Nothing with mass can travel as fast, therefore, leave alone exploring other worlds

The asteroids collision must happen there to create living organisms there, same like earth millions of years ago. Earth was also fully with water.

It can help ease the congestion on earth planet .

Maybe someone could go over why we still think Jupiter is a gas giant. After levi-shoemaker caused black scars that lasted over a month.
