Love it. While many like the imperfections associated with a human performance, I personally love the perfection of a precise and tireless machine. Would love to hear Uranus done in the same way.

I think with a convolution reverb, it would sound almost like the original. Still, the dry mics sound amazing!

Very good, but still the uncanny valley of music.

Don't forget, kids. While generating a whole piece of music is essentially ideal in a notation program, it's not the end goal. These are all tools to get a *better* idea of what your music is going to sound like. I feel like, while wallander has done a phenomenal job, the "uncanny valley" between live and synth music will never be closed.

Sounds very good! Bravo!
Question: Why the trumpets, marked "in C" in Holst's original score, are here actually notated a minor 3rd up, as if it were trumpet "in A"?

Thanks for posting! A very good emulation! I consider using NP3 with Sibelius 8. May I ask which reverb you use? Which reverb might be optimal?

I think Note Performer is a fantastic tool - the main area of improvement (for mine) - is the slightly 'marcato' sound to the strings when they're not slurred... and the sudden jump in volume from 'p' to 'mp'... not sure how difficult this is to address in future updates - but strings especially can produce a much more connected sound - as has been pointed out here regarding Note Performer's performance of the Chorale section of this piece.
But otherwise, a fantastic piece of software...

Great job! Is there any way to get/buy this sibelius file? It would be great for teaching purposes. Thank you in advance.
