"I have to go. I'm a big girl now." "Remember, I'll always be here for you, even if you can't see me, because I love you!"

Most performances of Jupiter are at a faster tempo, but I like this tempo much better. It's easier to appreciate all the interplay between instruments while still having a forward energy and jovial tone.

This piece cannot be beaten. This is definitelly the best classical piece ever created, and im really sad that Gustav Holst died wishing that he never composed The Planets.

They named this piece of pure art after a fricking planet, the largest in our solar system—a beautiful gas giant—the planet that prevents asteroids and meteors from hitting us. I'm in tears.

Andrew Manze looks like the happiest man in the world conducting this amazing work.

Reaches right into my heart and pulls out the tears. Not tears of sadness, but tears of being profoundly moved.

Gustav Holst. despite his name, was a born and bred proud Englishman who composed this wonderfully complex piece of music. Geniuses are rare but he was one.

This has been in my playlist a while, but I've never watched the video until today. I LOVE the conductor's smile. It's contagious and makes it feel as though he appreciates the music almost as much as I do X3. This has been for ages and will forever be my favorite classical piece, so seeing him smile while conducting it is just very heartwarming.
