I think sandshrew stay on the top floor to avoid paras, as theyd be the ones able to use leech life or absorb and hurt them. And paras stay lower to avoid the light or drying out

I know you hate the manga, but the Clefairy chapter in ETP is one of my favorite pieces of Pokemon media. By spending time observing the Clefairy with Oak and Bill, Ash learns to respect Pokemon as individual creatures with dynamic lives as part of a wide ecosystem. He grows as a trainer not by catching or battling them, but specifically by just letting them be. For that, he is rewarded with their evolution dance and the Moon Stone. It's an approach rarely seen in most versions of Pokemon and I think it's beautiful.

Will you ever do more videos like this for later areas in the series? Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova?

Stuff like the Ruins of Alph, Ecruteak City, New Mauville, Mt. Pyre, Mt. Coronet, Old Chateau, Lacunosa Town or Celestial Tower? It would be really awesome to see these mystical areas in the series given the retrospectives they deserve.

In the Pokemon Special manga, Mt. Moon is where we see Koga was a part of Team Rocket along with Lt. Surge, Sabrina, Blaine, and Giovanni. Blaine eventually defects from Team Rocket after helping create Mewtwo.
